Common dude get a grip on u'r life come saturday u go for a movie. If u are bored u go for a movie and if u'r friends call u...where do u got to??...ofcourse a movie..
Man dont screw u'r self by watching more of this..i mean there is a lot more u can do u knw!!

hmmm ok now let me try listing a few fun things to do while i'm at Madurai!!
well..hmm..god its so tough to think of anything else to do! The best that i can do is go to the nearest temple...after all its Temple City..duh as if i care!!
Well i even tried that went to a temple last night(prasanna venkatesh) prayed for joining date..no malls,no hangouts for teens,no beach,no nothing...phew...DEAR GOD IF U ARE READING THIS PLEASE PLEASE CONSIDER MY PLIGHT AND MAKE ME GO TO CHENNAI SOON...GET ME MY DATE OF JOINING

October 10th- Hello movie releases hope it reales here!!

Brace up every one here i go with yet another boring review..

I saw the movie at Adlabs with RY this thursday and wow i loved it so much.

I have already seen the Hindi original Khosla ka ghosla

and i loved it so much and was dying to see the Tamil version. I'm a great fan of Nasser and wanted to see how he will portray Boman Iranis chracter and he doeas an awesome job! The film follows the original truthfully and i loved it!

Never have I ever come across across such an authentic portrayal of the middle-class in films as you get to see here. Poi Solla Porom talks about a family in Chennai headed by Mr. .......(some guy who has a close resemblence to mani vannan) who invests all his life's savings to buy a plot on which he dreams of building his own bungalow. But after buying the plot he finds the land being encroached by a builder Baby(Nasser). He uses paisa, rowdies and politics to get his land back but is too diminutive in front of the mammoth BABY. Finally the straightforward family attempts devious ways to get back their land.

I relate to the movie fully coz my dad owns a land in chennai velacheri and we are upper middle class jus like them and we plan to bulid a house as soon as we get back to chennai in a yr or two....so who knows we could get into troubled waters too. Actually this story will strike a chord with many!!

I could hear the audeince enjoying the film a lot laughin and clapping...all characters especially moilies secretary,viccha,uppili,mouli were all awesome. But for some strange reason prasanna was not much impressed with the movie...oh almost forgot i loved the herione so much that i kept thinkin of her all night

oh yeah i'll have to warn all potential movie goers dont judge the film by the first half itself, the second half is awesome!!

Adlabs
I saw the movie at one of the Adlabs theatres. I was impressed - great sound great lighting. The only thing that stung was the surcharge in everything. I mean 30 bucks for a Pepsi is just a little too much in my book.And when u go there with a kind hearted person like RY prasanna it hurts even more...idiot didnt spend even a penny...i paid even for his bikes parking ticket

Saroja is one heck of a movie...i loved it!!

After Dasavadharam if there was one film i liked in Tamil then this will have to be it.
The screen play was awesome and there were so many relatable events in the film like the trip the friends take to hyderabad to watch a Cricket match!!. It reminded me of the trip i took to chenai to watch IPL. The strength of the film lies in the subtle humour that layers through out the film.The songs are okay.The actors suit their roles perfectly. Dialogues are too good!!
The 1st half is full of fun The Venkat prabu way!(remeber Chennai 600028)
The 2nd half is a racy thriller full of traps. Reminds one of Home alone!!
Watch out for the twist in the end...nope i wont tell u that Jeyaram is a traitor!!
So basically u walk out of the theatre feeling happy !
i'll give it 4 stars and a beeeg thumbs up..VENAT PRABU u rock man...we need directors like u!!

Three cheers to all the actors,director and above all the music directors of this film...guys u've simply come up with the most enjoyable,realistic and best movie of the year 08 so far...

ha..did i scare u??...do u wonder why this title..well i went to watch Phoonk yesterday at adlabs.
It is supposed to be a ghost movie...well i stress the word supposed to be here coz it cant scare a child...ofcourse this is a trade mark ramu movie with those unbelievable camera angles and eerie music but..nopes couldnt scare me...

actually when i went to see the movie i was shocked to see some known faces in the theatre...those of a few Comp sci gals and boys...hmmm might be that they were havin a get together...

Met the boys and waved hand at a few known faces frm the gals...hope they had fun...i doubt they knew hindi though

well gettin back to the movie..

1. Did i like the movie?---- not bad
2. Did it Scare me?----- U kiddin right..ofcourse not!!
3. Has Ramu lost his touch since aag?--- he is slowly gettin there,may be in his next movie!
4. What is my rating-- 2/5 and a watch it only if u are having a get together like the Cs guys rating

So tommorrow i'll be sending my cat application form to IIM kozhikhode..phew..finally i'm sending it,lazy me!

P.S [The movie does have one scary bit though..ironically it does not feature a ghost..its the part where the hero gets scared by lookin at his reflection in the mirror..lolz..dark comedy is it??]

The music for Rock on!! has been out for some time now and ever since i first heard them i have wanted to shaare it with u all. I have never liked rock...infact i hate Rock music or anything LOUD for that matter so i was a bit averse at first to listening to this.(is my grammar good?? i doubt)

But surprise surprise ever since i heard the songs i've become a big fan of it. I love it so much that i'm using it as my caller tune. Infact the moment u logged into this site u must be hearing the songs.

Some of u might not like it I agree but lets have an open mind before we start the review here. ( click on the songs to download)

so song 1- Socha hai
This is sung by Farhan Akhtar. Yup the same guy who directed those cult modern classics like Dil chahta hai,lakshya etc. The director nows turns actor and also the singer and actually is pretty good at that. This is not hard rock but is good to hear and gets us into the album and introduces us into the world of Rock!!

song 2- Pichle saat dinon me
This song uses heavy electric guitar and gives u the metal grunge feel and yet is pretty good. Again this is sung by Farhan..wow..i never knew he could carry him so well.

Song 3 - Rock on!!
This is the Title track and is simply awesome..gets u really into the rock atmosphere and the lyrics are mindblowing yaar. I loved it and again its a Farhan special!!

Song 4 - Yeh tumhari meri baatein
The best thing about this album is that it is not all loud music. This is melody at its best. Simply awesome to hear and u can relax. The female voice just captivates u. I lOVE IT.

Song 5 - Zehreelay
Now the party really starts....u want HARD rock..u got em..here the music directors shankar-ehsan-loy prove it that they are capable to pull of anything...who on earth is the singer he simply yells his throat out and the irony is it is in fact actually pleasant to hear!!

Song 6 - Tum ho to
This is another melody and is pleasant on the ears and pretty good lyrics too!!!

Song 7 - Sindbad the sailor
This is a fast one with plenty of guitar,drums etc and is really good to hear and is infact my caller tune now....but i belive that rock on would make a better tune and if u really wanted to shock the caller go far zehreelay

Song 8 n 9 these 2 songs are repetitions one is a live version of pichle saat dinon where they perform to a live audience and the other is a slow melody again..


phew..so finally done with my first music review... so on the whole i'd give this a 4/5 and a very big thumbs up...this would attract even the rock haters like me and for ROck fans this is a treat enjoy!!
The film his theaters on the 29th of this month..i've booked my tickets have u???
